This is a lovely two bay Staples Ladderax ensemble, completely original from the 1960's. 
 
The set comprises three white 2m tall metal ladders with adjustable feet (to navigate skirting boards of various heights), five teak shelves of which one is the super cool magazine or newspaper display shelf with the lip at the bottom to display books - which can be used tilted or horizontally.
 
Lastly, a teak bookshelf cabinet with an additional shelf inside the cabinet with glass sliding doors which are also removable if you wish.
 
This is a rare Ladderax combination, the bookshelf display shelf is not often found.
 
There are three Ladderax sets available for sale on this website, they range from two to three bays and include various teak shelves, drinks cabinets, bookcases, writing desks and so on. 
 
Condition:
The ladders are in their original condition and aren't powder coated, same is true of the gold metal support bars which hold up the pieces in the Ladderax modular shelving system (you can't see the supports). The three ladders received will all have white adjustable feet per the photo (despite one missing in the initial pics, this has been replaced since photography).
 
The teak pieces have been cleaned and re-treated, the glass polished.
 
There are some wear marks to some pieces and some of the pieces are a little brittle underneath where the support bars run (this is totally normal and to be expected).
 
Some support bars have been cut and bolted together by the original owner and they carved holes on the underside of the teak shelves to reflect this. It doesn't impact functionality at all and you don't see this once assembled. 
 
There's a faint ring mark to the top of the cabinet with sliding doors, as shown. 
 
Once it's all assembled it looks fabulous!
