Scottish furniture manufacturer McIntosh is best known on the vintage market for their mid-century style furniture, particularly for teak sideboards & dining sets.
This teak dining set was designed during 1960-69 and is very similar in style to those of Hans Olsen for Frem Røjle.
The round teak dining table has a concealed butterfuly extension in the middle which will manually open and flip out once the circular halves are moved open, to create a dining table for 6 people, possibly 8.
The four teak dining chairs have the most beautiful grain and are covered in a grey textured fabric - they're not the original covers, they have been reupholstered by the prior owner. They are in great condition and the fabric is clean and ready for use.
There is one tiny flaw to the edge of the dining table, the veneer has been slightly sanded back too much, please see the photos. The price has been adjusted accordingly and this was the condition of the table when I purchased it.
This mid century dining set is really beautiful and space saving and will most definitely be a stunning addition to your dining area.
Courier prices are available upon request.
