This is a stunning pair of Afromosia solid teak mid century armchairs by English maker Gimson & Slater circa 1960's. 
 
The beautifully shaped lounge chair frames have been professionally refurbished, refinished and French polished. 
 
The upholstery is all brand new as well, the fabric is a neutral cool toned beige colour which appears as a boucle fabric (the fabric isn't wool, it's an industry standard and flame proof man made fibre). 
 
The armchairs are a rare find and to have two - especially on the Australian market and in fully refurbished condition. 
 
These mid century armchairs surely are statement pieces with their highly sculpted frames and super comfy cushions (the armrests are fixed to the frame).
 
The webbing is in very good condition.
