A rare and beautiful walnut extending dining table by the Scottish makers Mcintosh of Kirkcaldy is available for sale in Sydney, Australia. 
 
Six chairs will comfortably sit around the vintage dining table when closed, it could seat eight comfortably and possibly more if needed.
 
The table has the most stunning walnut grain which has wave upon wave of beautiful shimmers which glisten in the sun. 
 
It's quite difficult to capture the correct or true colour, in full sunlight the table will appear lighter in colour so I've taken some photographs inside of the wood grain where you can see the colour is darker and truer to a walnut vs. teak. 
 
The table has been refinished, there are some stubborn marks which will show only in certain light around the folding middle section - I've included several photos to show how differently it appears depending on the angle you're viewing. 
 
It's truly a stunning extending dining table (the extension is concealed within the table and will pop out like a butterly and click easily into place). 
 
The table would suit walnut or teak dining chairs as the trim around the table is teak, as are the legs.
