Scottish furniture manufacturer McIntosh is best known on the vintage market for their mid-century style furniture, particularly for teak sideboards & dining sets. 
 
The set has been refurbished and restored, the grey leatherette chairs are original and in fantastic condition. Reupholstery is easy and inexpensive should you wish to change. 
 
This teak dining set was designed during 1960-69 and is very similar in style to those of Hans Olsen for Frem Røjle. 
 
The round teak dining table has a concealed butterfuly extension in the middle which will manually open and flip out once the circular halves are moved open, to create a dining table for 6 people, possibly 8! 
 
The four teak dining chairs have the most beautiful grain and are covered with their original mid grey faux leather upholstery. 
 
The teak on this particular set is a lighter tone (both the chairs and the table) - more of a honey teak versus some of the other sets available for sale in Australia which are medium to deep teak.  
 
This mid century dining set is really beautiful and space saving and will most definitely be a stunning addition to your dining area.
