This is a beautiful and rare oak dining table and chairs designed by Hans Olsen in the 1960's for ABJ Denmark.
There is a stamp underneath the table and the chairs are three legged which was a design feature of Hans Olsen. His teak dining table and chairs for Frem Rojle are a very similar design.
The set is incredibly compact and the table doesn't extend. It's been French polished and the grey/blue tones of the original seat covers match the wood tone very well.
A rare set to find and own - especially in oak and especially in Australia.
It would be quite easy to have the chair covers reupholstered to your desired fabric choice.
Condition:
The entire set has been professionally restored (the wood). The oak table had been painted with a white oil based paint and where the eye can't see there are some sections left white (please see photos). You can only see these if you turn the chairs upside down.
The seat covers are original and have been water / steam cleaned.
