This stunning 1960's egg armchair was made by Greaves & Thomas and is a well known design icon. 
 
The chair is quite comfortable and you're able to swivel and rock, effortlessly. The beautifully curved chair has given it its name of 'egg chair' and the chair would be great to use in a living room, bedroom or sitting room. 
 
It's quite a fantastic example of mid century modern furniture and is available in Sydney, Australia. 
 
In the early 20th century Greaves & Thomas was known for designing contemporary, high-end British furniture from its London headquarters. Now, almost a century later, the brand’s pieces are still targets for the discerning interior designer.
 
 
Condition:
The mid century 60's egg armchair has been recovered by its previous (and only) owners in a lovely textured teal fabric. It is in very good clean condition. 
 
The swivel and rock function of the chair works very well and is smooth and non squeaky. The teak seat frame and castors are in good working order as well.
