For sale is an amazing chrome, wood and faux leather vinyl 70s safari chair by Arkana, designed by Maurice Burke. 
 
I have two of these chairs - this one with arms and a matching one which is armless. 
 
The chairs look great due to the contrast between the chrome and faux leather and are very slingy and comfortable. 
 
Rare on the market in Australia, this is a true British mid century modern gem. 
 
Condition:
The condition is very good, there's no rust to the chrome, there are some flecks (very small) to the faux leather and the woodwork has been touched up with black acrylic oil paint where the lacquer had worn due to age.
